Church Norton Naturist Beach

Church Norton Beach West SussexA nice quiet beach on the West Sussex coast a short walk from St Wilfrid’s Church in Church Norton, this beach will have you stripping off in no time. Plenty of space, even at high tide.

Have a look here for the Google Maps location of Church Norton beach.

Getting to Church Norton beach is quite easy albeit a bit of a trek. First, head to Church Norton in West Sussex and use the post code PO20 9DT for St Wilfrid’s Church where you can park in the small RSPB car park. In the car park, you will see a track that leads to the nature reserve and the beach; follow this and at the bottom you will see the sign post pointing the way to the beach. Although it states 435m, it is actually closer to 1km to get to the naturist section. Once at the beach (facing the sea) head left until you pass the groynes – that would be the nude area.

There are no facilities here so you need to bring your own drink, food etc. The sea is lovely and clear and great for a skinny dip but I would recommend some form of footwear unless you’re happy which stones underfoot – Church Norton beach is a pebble beach. If you want more privacy, continue on towards Pagham. When visited, there were a couple of dog walkers but mostly the textiles are bird watchers so beware of binoculars being raised – they may be looking at you!  😀

If the small rspb car park is full. There’s a big car park at east beach selsey,,, bit of a trek along the shoreline but doable.

This has always been one of my favourite beaches to strip off, but recent changes whether man made or from a storm have left us non textiles a lot more exposed than normal.

Fantastic beach I’ve been meany times now. A great place to meet like minded people. A place where you can feel free.

I love church Norton Beach and pop along there regularly as I live near by. A ice mix of male and female participants and all seem friendly to chat, The walk from the carpark puts off the ” Idiots ” so tend to get only pure nudists alike.

    Got there again this week..

Spent most of the morning there, couple of fishermen and maybe half a dozen naturists on a mile or so of shingle beach.

Took a detour on the way to Asda after lunch, parked at the rspb carpark by the church and toddled off to the beach. Water in pagam harbour was just starting to go down, very few birds about and just a couple of bird watchers about. Out on the beach it was sunny with a cool breeze, fine for a walk all the way along to the harbour entrance. , water don’t half shift when the tides going out, bit wild where the outflow meets the waves trying to come in. Nobody else on the beach at all.just coming up to 4pm whenigot back to car park, several dog walkers arriving as I left.
