Meon Shore Hampshire

Meon Shore HampshireMeon Shore in Hampshire is a great beach with lots of space for the naturist and some facilities are available.

Location of Meon Shore, Hampshire is highlighted here on Google Maps.

Park in one of the spaces along the sea front on Cliff Road; here you will also often find an ice cream van and public toilets – this is a clothed area. Once parked, head on to the beach in front of you and walk to the west (right) past the beach huts. Approximately 200 yards from the beach huts is the naturist area.

The beach is stony so towels to sit on or other chair would be quite useful. The sea is relatively flat sloped so swimming means venturing out a bit further than you normally would do. Be mindful of the cliff edge as some parts have been known to break off and fall onto the beach and there maybe a voyeur occasionally who likes to get cheap thrills by looking over the edge onto the beach.

Meon Shore is a lovely Hampshire beach which stretches miles and you can have a great naked wander all along the shoreline. Because of the length of the beach, it is also frequented by dog walkers but to date we have had no adverse reactions and nudity on the beach is almost a daily occurrence.

Agree that this is a lovely beach but have never seen anyone wandering naked along the shoreline, which is what my wife and I would like to do. There are so many dog walkers you would be seriously outnumbered. Most naturist sit against the cliff with a risk of falling debris

I’ve walked the shoreline several times but yes, you’re right, most naturists do tend to sit close to the cliff. Dog walkers are never an issue; had some smile and wave but most just walk by. Keep an eye on the site as we’ll be setting up a group soon and you’ll be more than welcome to join.

Depends how brave you are 🙂 The naturist part starts about 200-300 yards past the beach huts but most people tend to go further down the beach. Shame that parking charges now apply to the car park too.
